In Memoriam

"People think they know me, but they don't..not really..Actually, I am one of the loneliest people on this earth. I cry sometimes because it hurts..it does. To be honest., it guess you could say that it hurts to be me.

I still can't believe it...the King of Pop bid goodbye to this world..

I first heard the news while assisting an at&t member over the phone. In the middle of our troubleshooting process, she was suddenly silent and then I asked her if she is still on the other line, she just blurted out "OMG! MJ just died!". I even thought she measns Michael Jordan but she explained that it was Michael Jackson and he suddenly died of cardiac arrest. And then the two of us were suddenly silent for a minute..reminiscing all our memories of the late king.

I grew up admiring MJ's music. My father (I think) is a fan of him because he keeps on playing MJ's music everytime. I didn't really know him that well but at my young age, I was already admiring his kind of music and his groove - and not the man behind it. It was in my high school years that I came upon his song Gone too Soon. It was MJ's song to a child who was inflicted by the HIV virus and died at such a young age. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think MJ wrote that song as a tribute to that child and it is in this that I became to admire the man behind Billy Jean. He may be weird and a "wacko" but without a doubt MJ has a pure heart. It was also on these years that I came upon his song Man in the Mirror, I know it was recorded by MJ way..way back but I just saw it on MTV when they have a re-run on MJ's grammy performance one on of their programs. Up until now, this is my favorite song of him because the lyrics explained it all " if you wanna make the world a better place..just take a look at yourself and make a change"

Years passed by and MJ's life was the most talked about gossip in hollywood and not his music. He was accused of child molestation and had undergone too many plastic surgery to make him "look better" and more "white" than "black". I can't blame him though for wanting a skin tone other than the one he was born with because even up until now, we still can't deny that racial discrimination is still rampant and MJ just wants to be "accepted". MJ is an example of a man who is affected by the turnarounds of the society.
I admit, I am not a fan of him but I am a fan of his music. The world really misunderstand this man so much. Thank you MJ for all of your contributions to the music world. Your music will live and You will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.

What took you so long?

After almost 9months of leaving my blog on a so called "hiatus" (without leaving a note), I was able to re-open it again.

What took me so long?

First and foremost, STUPIDITY. I lost my log-in password in my blog account somewhere behind my brain. I really don't know what happened because I made my password so easy to remember and its the same password that I use in my other accounts. It was so weird why I was not able to log-in to it for like 2 months. Thank God! I was able to recover it and re-open my blog once more.

Second, LAZINESS. I basically loose my interest in updating this blog but I haven't lost my love for writing though because I still keep some of everyday events that are of interest to me in my old fashioned notebook journal. In simpler terms, I was tired already and perhaps bored.

I was wondering of transferring to another blog site but I'm hesitant to do it. I love blogger and I have been with blogger for a long time and it would be such a hassle and perhaps "sad" to say goodbye to the site where I first created my online rants about every clutter behind my closed doors.

So I'm staying with blogger and I hope I still have my "readers" at bay.
=D

New Theme

My clock reads 1:40AM and I've been sitting in front of the computer since 9:00 PM trying to figure out what to do with the uncoded layout I just made in Photoshop two days ago. My eyes are drooping now from hours staring at the monitor and my head is aching from too much "squeezing" about what codes to put in my layout. So after four hours and forty minutes, I have finished my third layout for my blog but I still was not satisfied. It was for me mediocre. Nonetheless, I'm still proud of it though for it serves as a testimony to the dark eyes, over fatigue and eye bags I will surely get tomorrow.

Making a web layout is not an easy thing to do specially for people like me who is only an "amateur" in the world of web designing. Trust me, with all those codes, creativeness, colors blah blah blah, layout making is really not for the impatient person. But after you finished making your layout and someone commended you for your artistry and how much they like your final product, it was for me a great reward for your hardwork.

Anyways, let me present to you my third layout for my blog. It's nothing fancy though. It is just a simple product of my so called creativity, photoshop, css and html. And for those peepz who are planning to steal this layout or copy it? BURN IN HELL! I worked so hard in making this only to be ripped by some Stealers lurking around the world wide web. Its better to ask on how I made this layout than ripping it.
